About Neil Meyer
Neil Meyer is a futurist, writer, and systems thinker who specialises in making the complex feel uncomfortably close. Drawing from a background in global tech delivery and a lifelong fascination with patterns of collapse and renewal, his work explores the hidden forces shaping the next 75 years — from AI-driven disruption to wealth stratification and ecological unravelling.
Neil doesn’t write for comfort. He writes to map the world as it’s likely to be, not as we might wish it. His debut series, Countdown to 2100: A Time of Grey Rhinos, combines sharp analysis, grounded speculation, and emotionally resonant vignettes to illuminate the converging crises we can no longer afford to ignore.
Born in South Africa, based in the UK, and married into America, Neil’s perspective is inherently global. He lives with one foot in the world of delivery deadlines and the other in the shadow of what comes next.
